The Wrigley Community Garden is located at 1950 and 1960 Henderson Ave. This two year project will help in the transformation of Henderson Avenue. We will teach these and other residents basic gardening skills that can be applied to grow their own food here in the demonstration garden and later on in their own homes.
Our mission is to aid in the continued transformation of the Henderson Avenue neighborhood. Our vision is to create a positive, unifying element to a block previously blighted with drug trafficking. This site will also serve as a demonstration garden to potential landlords for the garden’s future site.
We try to reuse materials when possible, the garden is seeking the following items. If you or someone you know can donate please contact us. Please do not just drop off items at the garden. All donations are tax deductible.
