Hello followers!
This is my last entry here on the Wrigley Garden site. We are all cleaned up (almost, we have 1 more load with the shed and a few soil runs but pretty cleaned up) and pretty much moved out. Nothing more to say except thank you and I appreciate everything.

Wrigley Garden Clean Up
Garden is looking good. Everything is almost out. Thanks again to everyone who helped on Friday. We did a few runs with the trailer and the trucks and we are pretty much down to the wire.
Thank you Jenny and Jenifer for pulling weeds along the fence. I know there are probably plenty of weeds to be pulled elsewhere but I sure appreciate it.

Wrigley Garden Clean Up and Move- this Friday & Saturday
Last week kicked so much ass that we are already ready to start moving our stuff out of the garden. Please come down either Friday or Saturday. If we are not at the garden we might have gone on a run to drop the goods off at the farm, we will be right back. There is plenty to do!
If you were waiting to come on the 22nd please come now. We might be all wrapped up by then. Cross your fingers!
Please wear closed toed shoes and bring some water for yourself. Gloves and tools will be provided.
Check the dates below and come on down to help us out. Its only 2 more weekends so please try and make it.

Wrigley Garden Clean Up- this Friday & Saturday

Thank you to all the awesome volunteers who came to help last week. The garden is almost ready to go in just those 2 days! Amazing!
This week Friday and Saturday we will be disassembling the greenhouse, plumbing and finishing cleaning up the grounds. Please wear closed toed shoes and bring some water for yourself. Gloves and tools will be provided.
Check the dates below and come on down to help us out. Its only 2 more weekends so please try and make it.

Time for the big clean up- garden move!!
Hello gardeners and friends of Wrigley Garden-
Its time for us to put out the call for help. Our lease has expired and its time to move on.
Starting June 3rd and working every Friday & Saturday until the big move on the 23rd. Hours are from 9-12. Please wear closed toed shoes and bring some water for yourself.

Wrigley Gardeners- Don't forget
Hello gardeners-
Please don't forget your move out date is quickly approaching. Everything that belong to you needs to be out of the garden by May 1st. After that is will become property of Wrigley Garden.
If you cannot break down your plots by yourself please get in touch and we can make arrangements to help you.
Please be respectful of our time and energy and do not just abandon your plot with all your items. Its already tons of work for us to move and unnecessary items left behind are just creating more work for us.
Thank you and please let me know if you have any questions.

Wrigley Garden - lease expires a lot sooner than we thought!
Hello gardeners and friends of Wrigley Garden-
I just received an email from Patrick Ure from the Long Beach Housing Development office informing us that we must vacate Wrigley Garden by June 1st 2011. Our lease was not signed until September 8th, 2009 and with normal calculations a 2 year lease would have put us at October 1st as we have planned. But according to him and his office since the lease was drafted in June that is when it will also expire.
You are all probably just as devastated and shocked as I am. We have been planning an October move since the beginning of the garden. I know lots of you, myself included were excited to have one more summer season at the garden.
Please stay tuned for the big move to Farm Lot 59. We will need all hands on deck for this. If you have any contacts or suggestions on how to make the move easier please let me know. We will need to move the shed, greenhouse, soil, boxed trees, EVERYTHING. Like I said we were planning on moving but didn't know it was going to be so soon.
Again, I am terribly sorry for the bad news. Thank you for all your participation and hard work. I will keep you posted on progress, dates and any information that comes my way.
