Calling out to new gardeners

Hello fellow gardeners-

If you are interested in gardening at the Wrigley Community Garden please come out tomorrow. I have high hopes that it will be a beautiful - dry- day. We are having a general meeting tomorrow at 10:00 am. Everyone interested in gardening with us is welcome to attend.

The Wrigley Community Garden is located at 1950 and 1960 Henderson Ave. This two year project will help in the transformation of Henderson Avenue. We will teach these and other residents basic gardening skills that can be applied to grow their own food here in the demonstration garden and later on in their own homes.

Our mission is to aid in the continued transformation of the Henderson Avenue neighborhood. Our vision is to create a positive, unifying element to a block previously blighted with drug trafficking.
