Wrigley Garden Needs...

A scarecrow! Those dang birds are eating the tops off my corn. Bad, bad birds! Any takers on making us a scarecrow? Perhaps one that can also do other chores such as spread mulch and pull weeds.

That would be great.

1950 and 1960 Henderson Avenue, Long Beach CA

The Wrigley Community Garden is located at 1950 and 1960 Henderson Ave. This two year project will help in the transformation of Henderson Avenue. We will teach these and other residents basic gardening skills that can be applied to grow their own food here in the demonstration garden and later on in their own homes.

Our mission is to aid in the continued transformation of the Henderson Avenue neighborhood. Our vision is to create a positive, unifying element to a block previously blighted with drug trafficking.
