Farm Lot and The Factory

Natalie from The Factory called and offered up her front porch. Well, not exactly her porch but close enough. Next weekend, July 10th the 5th Annual Legends of Lions Dragster Expo and Car Show is right down the way from her restaurant. This is a great opportunity for us to be out to talk about Farm Lot 59. We will be there to promote our urban farm as well as take donations.

1950 and 1960 Henderson Avenue, Long Beach CA

The Wrigley Community Garden is located at 1950 and 1960 Henderson Ave. This two year project will help in the transformation of Henderson Avenue. We will teach these and other residents basic gardening skills that can be applied to grow their own food here in the demonstration garden and later on in their own homes.

Our mission is to aid in the continued transformation of the Henderson Avenue neighborhood. Our vision is to create a positive, unifying element to a block previously blighted with drug trafficking.
