Hello Tree Fans,
In just two short weeks we'll be unveiling the mural by local artist Lisa Wibroe and planting 60 trees in the neighborhood around the Wrigley Garden on Henderson Avenue.
The event will begin at 9 a.m. on November 20 at the Wrigley Garden, which is located at 1950 Henderson Avenue, Long Beach CA 90806. See attached Map.
As a bonus for helping us out, all of our volunteers will be entered into a raffle to win 4 turkey dinners provided by the Wrigley Albertsons on Willow Street, just in time for Thanksgiving.
Students who volunteer will receive credit for community service hours. ** Attention students: Please bring your paperwork.
This event is made possible by the Neighborhood Partners Program, many local businesses: Albertsons, El Paisano Market, Northgate Supermarket, Shortnin Bread, Starbucks, and Walgreens, plus all our wonderful volunteers, including Councilmember Dee Andrews of the 6th district.
