Macadamia Nut Tree

This Macadamia tree was blooming a few weeks ago at the VA Hospital. It was so fragrant and the bees were loving it! Flowers mean fruit, looking forward to some mac nuts soon.

Craig also thought it smelled nice.

1950 and 1960 Henderson Avenue, Long Beach CA

The Wrigley Community Garden is located at 1950 and 1960 Henderson Ave. This two year project will help in the transformation of Henderson Avenue. We will teach these and other residents basic gardening skills that can be applied to grow their own food here in the demonstration garden and later on in their own homes.

Our mission is to aid in the continued transformation of the Henderson Avenue neighborhood. Our vision is to create a positive, unifying element to a block previously blighted with drug trafficking.
